The National Roman Museum hosts in the monumental spaces of the Great Halls of Terme di Diocleziano, the exhibition ARABESQUES. Antonio Ratti, il tessuto come arte. The exhibition is dedicated to the textile entrepreneur Antonio Ratti. The exhibition intertwines the factors of the entrepreneur's life: business and art, creativity and cultural culture, public and private, in a rich and articulate route punctuated between ancient and modern and contemporary works of art.

For the first time an exhibition tells one of the most famous and symbolic places of the Rome Renaissance and Baroque ages: the Horti Farnesiani. The itinerary of the exhibition, within the vast archaeological area, is conceived as a narration and winds its way where once stood the ancient gardens: from Via Nova, at the edge of the Roman Forum, up to the Uccelliere on the Palatine Hill.

The exhibition of World Press Photo 2018 takes place in Rome at Palazzo delle Esposizioni from the 28th of April to the 28th of May 2018 as the Italian premiere exhibition. The World Press Photo is one of the most important awards in the field of photojournalism.
The World Press Photo of the Year is by Ronaldo Schemidt. The image shows how José Víctor Salazar Balza on fire amid violent clashes with riot police during a protest against President Nicolás Maduro, in Caracas, Venezuela.
